About Zon

Greetings. I'm Zon, and I'm software developer, UI/UX designer, and digital artist.I received my bachelors of science in Computer science from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. I am currently attending the Technical University of Munich for a masters in Informatics: Games Engineering.I have worked several jobs in both software development and the arts; I've assisted several professors in their research with both software development and illustrations. I have taken commissions for everything from character designs to illustrations for research proposals at the university.For my software development work, I mainly specialize in front-end development and design. Recently, I have shifted my career to pursue game development. I recently published some game development portfolio pieces on Steam as well.Selling digital art helps me to support my hobbies and education.

BASE COSTS:

  • Sketch - $15 headshot, $20 bust, $25 full body

  • Lineart Only - $50 headshot, $60 bust, $70 full body

  • Lineart and Flat Color - $75 headshot, $95 bust, $115 full body

  • Lineart, color, and shade/highlights - $120 headshot, $150 bust, $180 full body

  • Silly Doodle Style - $20. For funsies.

EXTRAS:

  • Simple background - add 20%

  • Complex/scenery background - add 50%

  • Extra characters - add 50% per character

  • Commercial license - add 100%, and PM/email me to negotiate a contract and/or copyright transfer form.

  • Expedited delivery - add 20%. Doodles and sketches are 3 days, linearts are 5 days, flats are 7 days, and full colors are 10 days. Normal allotted time is 3 weeks, or 21 days.

  • Humans/Humanoid creatures (elves, dwarves, orcs, etc.)

  • Extremely detailed characters

  • Diverse body shapes (muscular, chubby, asymmetric, etc.)

  • Anything not listed in the "Will not draw" section

I WILL NOT DRAW:

  • Nudity, Pornography

  • Ideologically sensitive/offensive material

  • Realism

  • Underage ships or ships with real people

  • Fetish material

  • Art of another person's character WITHOUT their permission

  • Death/Dying/Dead things (It's a trigger. Feel free to ask me if you aren't sure, though!)

  • Imitations of another artist's style. If you want the style of a particular artist, you should commission them directly.

BY ORDERING A COMMISSION, YOU AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

YOU...

  • MAY post your commission on social media (facebook/twitter/etc), if you give me credit. However, I would prefer if you reblog/share from me directly.

  • MAY cancel a commission at any time. If payment is provided and the commission isn't completed, I will give full or partial refunds depending on how much is completed.

  • MAY opt out of your commission being used for advertising purposes. You must tell me before I start the commission.

  • MAY NOT create derivative works from the art without asking me first. (I.E. crop it into a banner, resize it, recolor, etc... if you ask me, I will be happy to crop/resize it for you.)

  • MAY NOT use any of my work for NFTs. Ever.

  • MAY NOT use my art to train AI.

  • MAY NOT use the art for commercial purposes UNLESS you PM me and negotiate for a CC (creative commons) license and/or copyright transfer form beforehand, at extra cost. This rule does not apply if you can provide documentation that you are already the copyright owner and may use the design for commercial purposes.

  • MAY reject a commission request for any reason.

  • MAY reject a request for a commercial license for any reason.

  • MAY cancel the commission at any time before completion. If payment is provided and the commission isn't completed, I will give full or partial refunds depending on how much is completed.

  • MAY use your commission for advertising purposes, i.e. on future commission pricing sheets and example portfolios, unless you opt out before I begin. I will never use your commission in any other manner, nor will I claim ownership of your intellectual property.

  • MAY block you and refuse future services as I see fit. Common reasons for blocks are selling/buying NFTs or AI "art", participating in hate speech/a hate group, being disrespectful, and breaking my terms of service.

An invoice will be written for every commission. I accept payment in full or in collateral. 50% of the commission price MUST be paid up front before I begin. Once I send the first progress report, I will require the second half.
